Brochure & Catalogue Printer 2015: Pragati Offset (Tie)

This year, this appeared to be the most debated category among the judges. One was not enough, and finally, the judges settled for two winners, Hyderabad’s prolific Awards winner Pragati Offset and Bengaluru’s Vishwakala Printers.  

 

Pragati Offset’s entries were well conceived and well executed and had a surprising amount of features. The Paraizo – The Club, for example, a brochure for a sports club, had to match the architectural features of the clubhouse. Pragati prepared an intricate box design, which echoed the architectural features of the club, with rounded sides and diamond shaped cut-outs. The company employed laser-cutting technique to achieve neat and sharp edges. The other three entries – Three Sixty West, The Fastrack Brand Book, and The Imperial Edge had an equal amount of enticing features to stir emotions and to reveal a well-thought-out sense of market feeling.
