Bobst to unite with industry partners at Interpack

Bobst aims to make an impact at Interpack 2026, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 7-13 May, through a coordinated programme of partner collaborations, joint presentations, demonstrations and events. Spanning labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons and corrugated board, Bobst intends to highlight the future of packaging production.

The company’s strategy at Interpack 2026 is built on the strength of its partnership ecosystem. Through co-marketing activations across the show floor, Bobst will demonstrate how collaboration between technology providers, material suppliers and converters drives progress across every packaging segment.

At the Michelman booth, Nick Copeland, R&D director, barrier solutions at Bobst, will join forces with Thierry Van Migen, sales director (EMEA) at Michelman, to present the latest joint R&D developments in a session entitled Expanding the Collaboration into new solutions for PPWR. Taking place on 8 May, the presentation will explore how deepening collaboration between technology and chemistry partners can address both immediate production challenges and longer-term market requirements.

Visitors at Interpack will also find co-created samples throughout the exhibition, produced in partnership with Tesa, Dow Chemical, Sun Chemical, Kuraray, Henkel, Polivouga, Brückner and Michelman, offering converters and brand owners tangible evidence of what becomes possible when leading technologies work together.

Away from the exhibition halls, Bobst and Reifenhauser will co-host an exclusive evening event on 12 May aboard The Grace Kelly, a private yacht on the Rhine. The dinner and evening gathering offer a chance to connect with peers and industry leaders in a more informal setting.

For visitors who want to go further, the Bobst Packaging Center in Bielefeld is an ideal complement to the show. Located within easy reach of Düsseldorf, the centre gives printers and converters across all sectors the opportunity to experience Bobst's end-to-end solutions first-hand, with demonstrations fully tailored to individual substrate, application and production requirements, available in person or virtually.

Bobst Bielefeld will host a series of dedicated events centred not only on technology, but on production profitability and operational best practice. The session will introduce Demo 3.0, a new approach to machine demonstrations built around the ‘first pull right’ job-changeover methodology, developed in partnership with consulting partner Co-ëfficiënt. The demonstrations take place on 6-9 May and 11-13 May.

Interpack visitors are also invited to explore Bobst's wider network of European Competence Centers, where the full breadth of solutions for labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons and corrugated board can be seen, tested and discussed in depth.

Christian Zeller, Bobst head of marketing, BU printing and converting, said: "Interpack is one of the premier events for our industry, and this year we will be standing alongside the partners who share our vision for the future of packaging. From labels to corrugated, the conversations we are having, the technologies we are demonstrating and the connections we are making, all point in the same direction: a packaging industry that is more connected, more automated and more sustainable than ever before."
