Apsom joins hands with Veika

Apsom Infotex will be demonstrating Dimense with a broad range of 3D custom-made wallpaper samples at the Media Expo Mumbai 2020 slated from 20 February to 22 February at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

Veika is a producer of innovative wallpaper materials and technologies who have come up with a 3D digital wide format printing technology called Dimense. The technology allows designing unique structures and colour combinations, to create one-of-a-kind innovative printing solutions.

Dimense technology makes it possible to print unique embossing at the same time as the item is digitally printed at virtually any size and without repeating the embossing pattern. It can print tailor-made images of any size from digital printing and the effective formation of physical structure from the wallpaper industry. The combination of both allows printing unique and unseen digitally structured images, adding both colour and dimension to your prints.

The Dimensor printer allows continuous printing and embossing simultaneously. It consists of two main components – inkjet printer and calendar.

According to the press release shared with PrintWeek, the Dimense printer is said to print at speeds of up to 30-sqm/hr with a print width of 1.6-m. It uses an environmentally friendly technology based on latex eco-friendly inks and PVC-free structure-forming eco-deco media which gives an output with high resistance quality that does not fade in direct light.
