(r) Vijay Vohra: “A major reason behind the decision to opt for RMGT 790 was the size of jobs it produces.”

The machine, installed in December 2018, has helped Amar receive more than 350 jobs in a month, which is twice the number of jobs Vijay Vohra, co-founder, Amar Offset, produced as a freelance printing supplier.

The press has helped Vohra eradicate the need to outsource print production jobs, “After twelve years of expertise as a freelance printing dealer, I have built a strong network with agencies and clients. Now I can service them directly with the help of the new machine,” Vohra said.

Amar Offset specialises in the commercial printing segment, with over 80% jobs associated with the textile industry such as design catalogues, and the rest 20% of its jobs comprise of brochures and books.

Vohra said, “A major reason behind the decision to opt for RMGT 790 was the size of jobs it produces.”

The RMGT 790 can print up to a size of 31x23-inches at a speed of 16,000-impressions per hour. “Most of my jobs are of the size of 14x16-inches or 15x20-inches, which enables me to use the press for multiple jobs simultaneously,” added Vohra.

Vohra aims to offer a one-stop printing solution with the inclusion of in-house pre-press and post-press facilities at its 6,400-sqft unit.

“I am planning on an investment after October 2019, with an aim to reach a target 1,000 jobs per month,” Vohra concluded.
