Agfa bags order for Anapurna and Jeti printers

Agfa Graphics announced that it has received orders for four inkjet printers which includes Anapurna and Jeti models during Drupa.

Besides these, Agfa Graphics have also mentioned of enquiries which are int he process of being converted into orders.

Manesh Shetty, regional sales manager at Agfa Graphics, said, “We have had a successful Drupa. Infact, we broke the order intake record during the show. Drupa 2012 has catapulted Agfa as a company serious in the wide format business. Although being the strongest in the pre-press segment, Drupa 2012 displayed our commitment to the wide-format segment too.”

Commenting on the visitors, Shetty said, “Overall the number of visitor as compared to last Drupa was 20% lower, but the percentage of decision makers exceeded by 50%. Looking at the current market scenario it was a challenge in terms of people visiting, but it turned out that eventually you had more potential buyers.”

In Inkjet category, Agfa Graphics at Drupa showcased M Press Leopard, Jeti Titan 3020 printer with 48-head UV flatbed and roll to roll, Jeti Titan 3020 printer with 36-head UV true flatbed, Jeti HDC UV true flatbed and roll to roll printer, Anapurna M 2050 UV hybrid printer and Anapurna FB 2540.
