AEC Machinery, part of the Sujata Group, is reporting robust demand across its corrugation equipment portfolio, driven by steady expansion in packaging. “We deal in paper cutting machines, die-punching machines and rejected machinery from corrugation plants. Everything required in a corrugation plant is available with us,” said Dhruv Gupta, business manager, AEC.
Looking back, Gupta described 2025 as a strong year. “2025 was very good for us.” Full corrugation plants and die-punching machines have been the most in-demand products. “The establishment cost for a new corrugation plant is relatively low, and the demand in packaging is never-ending. Everything needs to be packed.”
This, he said, has opened opportunities for both new and existing players. “That is why there is a huge scope for new players to flourish, and machine demand keeps increasing.” At Pamex 2026, AEC Machinery is pushing a mix of conversion machinery and Chinese-manufactured equipment aimed at scaling manufacturing operations. “We have received enquiries for new corrugation plant setups, as well as from existing plants looking to upgrade.”
While deals are still under discussion, Gupta noted that finalisations typically happen post-show. “Most deals are finalised after the exhibition.” On automation, Gupta said the industry is moving steadily in that direction. “Automatic corrugation plants have been introduced, and conversion machines are increasingly automated,” he said.
He added that printing volumes move in tandem with packaging growth. “Every carton and packet needs printing. We have also seen increased enquiries for flexo printing machines for carton printing.”
