The new Komori at Adinath Offset

Surendranagar, Gujarat-based Adinath Offset recently invested in a Komori Lithrone GL437.

Since its inception two decades back, this ISO 9001:2015 company has constantly been upgrading its machine portfolio, adding advanced presses and post-press machines every now and then.

“It has been just a matter of two weeks since we completed the full installation of the Lithrone GL437 and started running it in full swing in one of our production units,” Vrushit Ajaykumar Sheth of Adinath Offset said. He added that the new Komori machine is ideally one of the most excellent offset presses they have ever owned till date, with which they now start unlocking a new level of quality and consistency in graphic prints.

Founded by Ajay Hasmukhlal Sheth in 2002, joined by his son Vrushit in the business in 2009, Adinath Offset boasts a broad client base predominantly comprising some big pharmaceutical brands and companies. “Around 80% of our works are for clients in the pharmaceutical sector and the rest is for those from the domains of personal care products, undergarments, and retail brands,” Sheth said.

Telling about the day one of business of Adinath Offset and how they progress over the years with continuous upgrades of their machine portfolio, Sheth recounted, “It all started with a single-colour press; then in 2009, we bought a two-colour press; followed by a four-colour press in 2012.” He added, “It was in the year 2015 we took a big turn when we began our first association with Komori — we installed a six-colour machine, a pre-owned model which we sold in 2018 and bought six colour + coater Heidelberg SM 74.”

Sheth continued, “We never ever remain inactive in expanding our machine portfolio, either the presses or post-press equipment. In 2023, we installed two Maxima automatic die-punching machines by replacing the old models. Likewise, we installed three Boxtech folder gluers, lamination machines and UV Drip off machine. As part of the expansion, we have done a landmark installation of the brand-new Komori Lithrone GL437 this year.”

Backed by a team of 60 skilled employees, Adinath Offset has two production units where the Lithrone GL437 is running efficiently in the first one while the second one is designated for corrugation packaging tasks including fluid lamination. Robustly designed and engineered to operate at the maximum speeds up to 15,000-sph, the brand new Komori press prints maximum sheet size of 640x940-mm with thicknesses ranging from 0.04-mm to 0.6-mm to produce A1-size graphics and end-products.

“Prior to our final decision on the Lithrone GL437, we had seen some other brands as well, which turned out to be unviable in many aspects when compared to Komori. In addition to the advancement of the brand new Lithrone GL437, we are contented with the way Komori India’s team and specially thanks to Kalpesh Parekh who insist us to buy this Komori machine also provides us the absolute after-sales cooperation. We are now moving forward to tap the newer trends and opportunities in the market with persistent adoptions of new machines and technologies,” Sheth concluded.
