900+ delegates celebrate innovation in print at HP Dscoop

The Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop), an HP Indigo users group, hosted Dscoop Asia, themed “Winning Inspirations” held in Singapore from 17-18 November 2016. The two-day event saw more than 900 print industry stakeholders participating at the event.

The Dscoop Asia 2016 attendees were a mix of influential marketers, digital innovators, creative leads and print specialists from across Asia Pacific and Japan. During his inaugural speech, Richard Bailey, president, Asia Pacific and Japan, HP Inc, highlighted the theme and purpose of the event - of how innovation and creativity can transform the user experience.

The event was curated to help elevate brand owners and marketing professionals to new heights by discovering creative ways to bring their inspirations and innovation to life. Attendees exchanged ideas through a series of keynotes, workshop-style ‘Curator’s Circle’ sessions as well as engaging with solution partners at HP’s Centre of Excellence in Singapore.

Michael Boyle, vice president, Graphics Solutions Business, Asia Pacific & Japan, HP Inc said, “We’re driving a transformation. We’re partnering with brands, agencies, and PSPs. It’s all about the partnerships – we’ve got to work together to build a more efficient ecosystem that creates more efficiency.”

As a part of this strategy to build working relationship with innovative e-commerce leaders to drive creativity and customer growth, Alon Bar-Shany, vice president and general manager, Indigo Digital Press Division, HP Inc, announced an official collaboration agreement with YiFuTu.com. YiFuTu.com is a leading graphic design and printing services platform in China.

“We plan to replicate such business model across Asia. The plan is to create a network of HP Indigo’s user plus educate end customer about the various possibilities with digital print technology,” said Bar-Shany.

The Dscoop event offers education and networking opportunities for Indigo users, including business owners, sales teams, technical and operational experts, as well as label and packaging specialists. The event saw more than 100 delegates from India attend the event.
