Established in 2010, 3D Sarp Enterprise has grown from a mere photocopy shop to a complete reprographic corner over the years. Recalling the company’s journey so far, Amitava Chandra, proprietor, 3D Sarp Enterprise, said, “In the early days of our business, we were a document printing and photocopying shop equipped with a Xerox Docucolor 252 multifunction printer. We upgraded our machine portfolio to meet the demands for higher-quality prints and a wider range of print applications from our clients.”

He added, “After a Xerox machine, we added a Konica Minolta bizhub 450i multifunction printer, followed by a Konica Minolta Bizhub Press C70HC. However, our quest for an ideal production press for higher-quality prints was still unfulfilled. That’s why we approached Monotech Systems, where we found the Ricoh Pro C7200X colour production digital press with advanced features for high-textured photos and other commercial graphics with a ‘wow’ element.”

Chandra said the company is expanding its client base with the new Ricoh.

He added that the machine is a robust production press for printing high-resolution photos and a wide variety of other applications for commercial printing, labels and packaging and security printing applications.

“We are committed to all our clients in equal measures, whether they are in metros or tier-III towns, corporate players or simply a host of walk-in local people,” he said, adding that the client list consists of eminent brands like UTI Mutual Fund, Complan, and clients like Kidswell School and other educational institutes.

3D Sarp boasts a production team of four experienced printing professionals. “We envision this new Ricoh enabling us to further support to fulfil all sorts of print demands from our clients. This machine is helping us to unlock new markets like premium-quality photo printing,” Chandra said.

The photo printing market is the next stop for 3D Sarp. Chandra said, “Now, we have to harness the full capabilities of the Ricoh to produce premium-quality photos in vivid clarity. In this, we are thankful to Monotech Systems for such a machine.”

The Ricoh Pro C7200X is engineered to print up to 85-ppm on a wide variety of heavy-weight stocks up to 360-gsm.
