2021 Pinnacle InterTech Award for 13 innovative technologies

Thirteen innovative technologies were recognised for the 2021 new Pinnacle InterTech Awards programme (formerly the PIA InterTech Technology Awards). These include Canon (two awards); Cutworx; Durst; Global Graphics; Heidelberg (three awards); Kodak; HP; Livingston Systems; MBM Corporation and Miraclon.

The Kodak Sonora Xtra process-free plates are recognised for industry-leading innovation

The Pinnacle InterTech Awards are sponsored by Printing United Alliance and recognise innovative technologies which are expected to have a major impact on the graphic communications and related industries.

Heidelberg was recognised for its Hycolor Pro; PAT – Performance Advisor Technology; and Push to Stop in Folding.

Canon was recognised for Canon Arizona Flow Technology; and Canon UVgel 460 inks.

Durst was recognised for the Durst P5 TEX iSUB.

Kodak was recognised for its Kodak Sonora Xtra process-free plates that combine all of the sustainability, quality, and performance of Kodak’s field-proven process-free plate technology — but with faster imaging speeds, dramatically improved image contrast, and more robust handling.

HP was recognised for HP PageWide C500 Top Feeder.

Other technologies honoured at the Awards included CWT 1737 Evolution Max from Cutworx; Direct from Global Graphics Software; TagBot from Livingston Systems; Aerocut X Pro from MBM Corporation; and PureFlexo Printing Technology from Miraclon
