The machine has been designed for precise cutting of film, which leaves no room for wastage. The traverse blade can cut the film reliably and in a stable manner.

Gohil says: "The machine can handle substrate of 55-150 gsm and paste film from 15-150 microns without any wastage for paper. And for carton it can handle substrates of 150-400 gsm and paste film from 15-150 microns without any wastage. The cutting system is simple and it is designed to reduce the wastage."

The sturdy and compact design of Excel-10 makes it a favourite among the printers.

High production
The Excel-10 is a fully automatic window patching machine and produces at a speed of 150 blanks per minute. Whereas the Excel-10CT is a fully automatic carton window patching machine and produces at a speed of 150 blanks per minute. Due to its high production capacity, the machine is preferred for high volume work. The machine is deployed by print firms which cater to a range of clients that include: banks, insurance companies, public utilities and government agencies with high mail volumes.

Mehul Desai, chairman of the Mumbai-based Mail Order Solutions (MOS) who installed an Excel-10, says: "The performance has proved that it was a wise decision to install Excel-10. We have invested in this kit to cater to our increasing mailing demands."
