Who do you admire the most in the industry?
Pranav Sathe, my factory manager from Ajanta Print Arts, at my old job. He joined the company in his late 20’s as a factory manager and his approach toward monitoring and mentoring people at every level is commendable.

Your favourite print design
Nykaa’s product, Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick. It’s a sleeve and tray concept of a paper-based secondary package, which uses raised UV and classic deep colours.

What would be your dream job?
Being associated with firms like McKinsey & Co Consultancy.

How can digital printing help in boosting creativity and consumer connection through packaging?
Start-ups at their initial stages have a lot of liberty to pivot at any point in time, as compared to the well-established and highly invested brands. This is where digital printing comes into picture for furbishing and creating a brand’s image in the market. One gets the commercial and technical benefits such as short-runs, value-added appearance and aesthetics. This is where companies can leverage it by showing creativity in packaging and brand their products at a lower capital in comparison to the conventional printing processes.

One most valuable work lesson
Teamwork is the most valuable lesson. It is important to ensure that all the stakeholders are on the same page.

A key tip for good health
Stay calm no matter how difficult the situation is. Don’t let the grind ruin your peace of mind. Mental peace is the majority stakeholder of good health.

Your take on the print industry in the post-pandemic era
Consumers are spending more in the pharma and lifestyle segment, which has resulted in an increased sales in the healthcare sector. The print and packaging segments have also seen some major changes. The focus is not only on the aesthetics of a product, but also towards the functionality, especially towards damage control.
