What is the trickiest colour that you have had to print?
Fluorescent or neon colours often don’t translate well in digital environments. Matching customer expectations from screen to print is a real challenge.

What is the trait you most deplore in our industry?
A casual approach to deadlines and quality. In today’s competitive world, commitment to precision and timeliness is everything.

When and which print job or project made you the happiest?
Printing car stickers for Uber across India was a highlight. Our stickers stayed intact for over 10 years. Uber later returned saying, “Yours lasted. Can you do it again?” — a callback that spoke volumes.

Describe your day in a sentence.
Each day is a mix of focused decisions, unexpected interruptions, and quiet wins — moments that may seem small but collectively remind me that progress isn’t always loud, and that showing up consistently is what really moves things forward.

What is your most ‘wow’ moment (print/non-print)?
Back when UV direct-to-film stickers started gaining traction in India, I figured the name sounded too technical for most people. So, I simply called them ink transfer stickers and began marketing them online. A few months later, I noticed sellers across India — and even internationally — using the same term. It wasn’t planned, but watching that name quietly go global felt like leaving a small fingerprint on the industry.

What is your favourite print joke?
Printers don’t make mistakes.
They just create limited editions.

What is the greatest strength of your printing firm?
We’ve built our entire process around customer convenience. From helping with design files and making them print-ready, to offering a range of materials, fast shipping, and smooth reordering — everything is designed to be easy, reliable, and under one roof.

Which print technologies are the future? Why?
Technologies like single-pass and AI-driven pre-press automation are the future — they reduce turnaround time, support short runs, and work seamlessly with personalisation.

One thing you can change about your print plant?
I’d create a modular setup that can easily scale — where adding a new process or machine doesn’t disrupt the existing workflow.

A process which is passe for 21st-century press?
Relying solely on human memory and handwritten notes for production tracking — it’s time we trust systems more than sticky notes.

What is your favourite Make in India print brand?
There are many promising players, but I feel the real breakout Make in India print brand is still in the making — and that’s exciting.
