What does the machine do?
The ImagePressV1350 churns out prints at a pace of 135 A4 pages/min (colour/B&W) meeting the demands of the most production environments. Integrated with multiple suction paper feeding trays, registration technology, straight paper travel path and all new POD-SURF (surface rapid fusing), the ImagePressV1350 offers quick media switching on mixed media types from 60 to 500-gsm. It’s driven by high-end E9000 Fiery server (FS500 Platform) with Hyper-RIP (8 RIP processing simultaneously) to process heavy print files quicker.

In India, the machine was launched in October 2023. It was showcased for the first time at the Pamex 2024 exhibition held in Mumbai on 6 February 2024.

Its targeted for jobber (print for pay), commercial offset printers, book printers and packaging printers for their short runs, print of demand and variable data printing requirements

What was the thought process when the press was conceived?
It’s designed to address most of the challenges of graphic print environments like consistent print quality, front-back registration, high media switching time, limited media handling capability, lesser productivity and low equipment life.

What are the USP of the press?
The printer has many unique features, including a suction paper feed, escape tray, diagonal feed registration, and CV toner. It prints with 2400 x 2400dpi quality and supports media up to 500-gsm. It uses EFI Fiery for fast file processing and automation tools, and has an inline spectrophotometer for accurate and consistent colors. The Fiery Graphic Arts Pro Package provides preflight/colour correction post-job submission, while the impose tool offers static and variable data imposition.
