Picture Gallery: IFCA Star Award 2022 Winners
The Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) hosted the IFCA Star Awards Ceremony 2022 and seminar at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai on 15 September.
While the seminar themed Packaging at Crossroads captured the opinions of different stakeholders in the packaging industry, the awards recognised the efforts of the industry and praised it.

Inaugural ceremony of IFCA Star Awards 2022
While UFlex and ITC bagged 13 and 11 IFCA Star awards respectively, Constantia and GLS won seven and Huhtamaki India bagged five awards.
R Chandrasekhar, president of IFCA welcomed the delegates and delivered the opening address. He said, "Packaging industry is at crossroads. Response to IFCA awards has been 25% better than previous editions. The pandemic did not impact the process of innovation and the need to excel to delight customers."
"The packaging industry in India is an interesting amalgam of large global players, large local Indian companies, few medium scale enterprises and a long tail of small and micro enterprises," added Chandrasekhar.
