EngView CAD solution for packaging
Explaining about the EngView standalone CAD software, Pande says, “It comes with European Carton Makers Association (ECMA) and European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO) international standard library of designs. One can select a specific design and simply enter the dimensions to achieve the keyline as per requirement. It also manages 3D HTML file generation with print finishing effects to add value in cutting down the approval cycle.”
Pande claims that EngView is awarded by the European Association for its shortest learning curve. The price of the software ranges from Rs three lakhs to Rs 20 lakhs, depending on the configuration.
Graphic editing solution for packaging
Founder PaSharp Graphic Suite works on Adobe Illustrator to manage complete editing of artwork from raw file to print-ready files.
Pande says, “PaSharp is the most convenient way to handle packaging pre-press within Adobe Illustrator. With three days of training, PaSharp is an effective tool for pre-press operators.” Prices for PaSharp range from Rs 4-15 lakhs.
Digital cutting solutions
However, Pande is upbeat about the Iecho digital cutting system range. “We have installed three small machines in India so far. If we talk about the bigger machines, we’ve installed more than 20 machines in India.”
Emerging Graphics has sealed at multiple deals for its Iecho digital cutters in 2020. The Iecho digital cutting system, a CNC machine, uses the keyline to cut a wide range of materials in desired shape. The product, according to the company, caters to the niche market segment where short run jobs are done.
According to Pande, the main USP of the machine is it can handle various materials on a single machine, from 400 x 600mm to 2,500mm x 4,300mm and even bigger.
“It is simple to use as well. Onsite training is provided for each customer by our team,” he adds. The price for Iecho digital cutting system ranges from Rs 9-50 lakhs, depending on the configuration.
“We provide pre-sales, sales, and remote support for our products. Our hardware engineers based in Mumbai and New Delhi manage the complete support,” says Pande.
