What is the trickiest colour that you have had to print?
Any shade that has rhodamine red or reflex blue in it, or worse still, a mix of both, is a headache to reproduce.

What is the trait you most deplore in our industry?
A resistance to change. Clinging to outdated methods is like being a dinosaur trying to use a smartphone — it’s just not going to work!

When and which print job or project made you the happiest?
It was a special edition product detailer. It had a lock and key mechanism made from paper.

Describe your day in a sentence.
Each day varies, from observing the process on the Gemba Walk to strategising improvements in efficiency and client service.

What is your most wow moment (print/non-print)?
My visit to China was eye-opening, from systems to scale – something to admire and implement here.

What is your favourite print joke?
Why did the printer go to a therapist? He had trouble coping with all the paper jams!

What is the greatest strength of your printing firm?
In the era of print democratisation, we stand out by focusing on customer delight and satisfaction.

Which print technologies, in your opinion, are the future? Why?
The future lies in a mix of offset, flexo, gravure, and inkjet technologies – the ultimate printing machine.

If you could change one thing about your printing plant, what would it be?
In one word — space.

A technology or a thought process you think is passé for 21st-century press?
Brand recognition can serve as a bargaining chip, ensuring balanced client negotiations.

What is your favourite Make in India print brand?
Bindwel and Pratham Technologies — both are making India proud internationally.

What do you most value in your customers?
I most value our customers’ collaboration mentality. Their feedback and partnership drive us to continually improve and innovate.
