What is the trickiest colour that you have had to print?
Blue. It’s a particular shade of blue. And I had to invest in a new press in order to get it.

What is the trait you most deplore in our industry?
Next-gen photographers are not promoting photo albums. Instead they hand over pen drives to their customers. But print is eternal.

When and which print job or project made you the happiest?
Creating an album which replicated a cake. It won a prestigious award in Germany.

Describe your day in a sentence.
Each day is different. Yesterday I created an album which was made with water-proof substrate. Tomorrow I’ll write a screenplay for a film. And over the weekend I’ll play in the celebrity cricket league.

Your favourite print conference?
Dscoop hosted by HP.

Which print technologies, in your opinion, are the future?
Photo albums created with AI.

A technology or a thought process you think is a passé for 21st-century press?
Trends come and go. Anything can happen.

What is your favourite print brand from India?
TechNova and Polyplex.

What do you most value in your customers?
On-time delivery.

What is the greatest strength of your printing firm?
80% of the Suvi team has been with us for 20–30 years.

One job you wish you had printed?
I would like to print on a pair of shoes especially sneakers in my own brand with my own creative print designs.

Which living print person do you most admire?
My dad, who is a marine engineer, started from scratch. He knew nothing about print and he built and created the Suvi brand.
