The Institute of Internal Auditors India is pleased to announce the
forthcoming 2016 IIA India Conference on 19-20th February, 2016 at The
Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The theme of the two day conference is
New Skills for the Internal Auditor.
We are witnessing heightened expectations by all three stakeholders viz.
the industry, the legislation and the environment which is to deliver the next
level of internal auditing performance and that too immediately. Internal
Auditors have no option but to transform their skills, on a real time basis, to
to global standards. Assessing emerging risks, data analytics, cyber
security, critical thinking, industry insights, modern techniques, global
internal auditing standards, etc. will be amongst the topics discussed at the
sessions which will be comprised of panels of industry & subject matter
experts

To set the theme, the keynote speaker Richard Chambers, President &
CEO, IIA Inc. would speak on Internal Auditing: Today’s Opportunities –
Tomorrow’s Solutions Hal Garyn, Senior VP, IIA Inc., will cover recent
changes to the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).
The other sessions will be mainly panels comprising of national & global
professionals discussing case studies and best practices. International
delegates from Middle East, South East Asia, etc. are also expected.
