Workshop on industry 4.0 at GJUS&T, Hisar

The Department of Printing Technology, Guru Jambhashwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, organised a one day national workshop on ‘Printing and packaging industry in the context of industry 4.0’ on 24 May 2017. Tankeshwar Kumar, vice-chancellor of the university presided over the inaugural function while Anil Kumar Pundir, registrar of the university was the guest of honour. RK Anayath, director, TITS, Bhiwani, was present as keynote speaker.

Tankeshwar Kumar, in his presidential address, said that while welcoming the fourth industrial revolution, we must make sure that technology is used in the interest of human being.

Anayath explained in detail about industry 4.0, highlighting on how technology is changing rapidly.

Ambrish Pandey, chairperson of the department and director of the workshop, Yogesh Chaba, dean, faculty of engineering and technology, PC Tiwari, Amit Sharma, Vikas Singh, MK Moudgil, KV Nagpal, BD Mehandiratta, among others, presided over various sessions of the workshop. Besides the teachers and students of the department, students from various institutions in Haryana were present on the occasion.
