This is the first Superfici UV system in India which has been installed on Heidelberg SM CD102 six-colour with coater.
Harshad Patel, managing director at Perfect Print & Pack, said, “Once the system is installed on the units, the operator does not have to worry about the UV curing. The system is friendly and robust.”
Superfici UV system is designed in such way that the UV light does not fall on the blanket. With the help of sensors, it generates sufficient light required by the image on the paper or board thereby saving on energy and ink wastage.
Sunil Daddikar, managing director at Unique UV, said, “The system is designed especially to save on the power consumption and reduce the ink wastage. The unique feature of the system is that it does not allow the light to fall on the blanket, thereby avoids blinding of the image on the blanket.”
