The PrintWeek team visited Yarbal Print-Pack’s plant in Belagavi (Karnataka). The mission: to understand the secret recipe that enabled the company to win the PrintWeek Award for SME Company of the Year in 2023

The company forayed into the packaging industry in 2003 with the installation of a two-colour Komori. Later Team Yarbal opted for an upgraded four-colour press
In 2008, national and regional brands started to care much-more about packaging. And so, Team Yarbal invested in a five-colour Mitsubishi press in 2010
Yarbal Print-Pack possesses three folder-gluers and two carton machines
Team Yarbal believes headline success with manufacturing of cartons doesn’t translate into real numbers unless the manufacturing process is strong
The Belagavi factory also consists of a blanking and three cutting machines, and a Maxima punching machine
