Suba Solutions leveraged the Bharat Print Expo to showcase its growing portfolio of Make in India products, designed to optimise sheet-fed offset operations.
Mohan S, general manager – sales and technical at Suba Solutions, highlighted the company’s transition into indigenous manufacturing at its Coimbatore facility.
A key highlight of the display was the Suba Ink Agitator, a retrofit system that has become a staple for Indian printers over the last year. Launched at Printpack, the system maintains ink viscosity and prevents skinning or tagging, ensuring consistent print quality without the need for manual intervention on the ink duct.
According to Mohan, the product has gained such traction that it is now considered a mandatory addition for many customers purchasing brand-new printing presses.
Complementing this is Suba’s latest launch: a fully automatic hydraulic pile lifter. Manufactured in Coimbatore, the system is designed to eliminate the physical strain of manual sheet handling. The lifter automatically adjusts its height to assist operators at the feeding and delivery stages of printing and cutting machines. While the product is in its early launch phase with approximately five installations already complete, Mohan noted strong interest from South Indian converters looking to modernise their workflows.
The company's strategy at Bharat Print Expo remains focused on the sheet-fed packaging conversion segment. While Suba offers a broad range of post-press solutions, Mohan emphasised that their goal in Chennai is to engage with high-value packaging customers.
“Our equipment often falls into a higher value bracket, which typically involves a longer sales cycle,” Mohan explained.
