“We are thrilled to run this new Enthrone, which enhances our overall productivity and print quality to a whole new level,” Sanjeev Vyas, managing director of Spot Grafiks, said.
He added, “Before bringing in the new Enthrone G29, we had owned six Komori presses, all pre-owned models. Three of them are still operational at our facility alongside the newly installed Enthrone. This new press is a game changer. It clearly demonstrates how a brand new Komori press can transform operational efficiency and output quality. It runs so seamlessly that it requires minimal human intervention.”
The Enthrone G29, a compact sheetfed offset press, is widely recognised for its advanced features and robust performance. With a maximum speed of 13,000-sph and the ability to handle sheet sizes up to 530×750-mm (printing area of 520×740-mm), the press is engineered for precision. Its double-sized cylinders ensure smooth, high-quality printing, even on heavyweight substrates. “Automated features of the Enthrone G29 significantly reduce makeready times and boost our overall productivity,” Vyas said.
Although it has only been about a month since the press was commissioned, Spot Grafiks is already planning to fully leverage its capabilities. “This is just the beginning. We aim to run the press at full capacity and strengthen our position in short-run commercial printing, where the Enthrone G29 proves to be an ideal fit,” Vyas said, expressing confidence that the investment will sharpen the company’s competitive edge.
Founded in 1996, Spot Grafiks has built a strong reputation in offset printing, becoming synonymous with excellence in commercial printing. The company continues to expand its capabilities and machine portfolio to meet evolving customer demands.
“We consistently adapt to changing market trends by investing in advanced technologies and equipment. The adoption of the Enthrone G29 is a strategic step in that direction,” Vyas said.
In addition to its offset presses, Spot Grafiks operates in-house CTP, advanced digital production presses, high-precision finishing systems, and other supporting equipment. The company serves a diverse clientele across different sectors, including education, producing magazines, study materials, workbooks, brochures, catalogues, and flyers.
Driving the company’s next phase of growth is a skilled team of printing and production professionals, led by Arpit Vyas, representing the next generation of leadership in the business.
