During PrintWeek India's visit to the Fujifilm Sericol's factory in Pune, the Sericol team conjured up a 100-page sample book from its R&D department. The book was a show of strength of the myriad possibilities that the inks can create on textile
The purpose of the albumteam Sericol says is to show the myriad possibilities which can be done by creative printers with Sericol's technical support and products
The Fujifilm Sericol factory, located 30 kms from Pune at Sanaswad can produce range of solvent-based screen, digital, flexo and offset inks. The interesting innovation of screen inks documented by Sericol is for everyone to see
The bead print effect is achieved by printing CMYK colour by a single stroke and PVC beads placed manually on the wet film and cured
This discharge print, which has a velvety effect is created by printing four colour with a single stroke and cured at 160 degree celcius for three minutes
Texopaque classic OP plastisol high density paste is used to create a raised effect. This effect is achieved by three stroke printing and cured. This process is repeated five time
The image shows a high density glitter print. The high density inks used here is screen printed for five times. Finally, glitter is printed onto the print and cured
This image shows the glitter print effects on denim. A mixture of Texiscreen aqua AJ382 metallic ink medium plus metallic glitter powder in the ratio of 95:5 is prepared to achieve this effect
3D effect on the textile can be achieved too with these inks
This is not a denim fabric, but the exact look and feel of denim can be achieved by screen printing the inks on any frabric desired
Sublimation transfer ink
Ink system: Subliscreen Aqua HQ
Printing process: Achieved by printing each of the four Subliscreen Aqua color on a 135 gsm coated paper transfer substrate and air dried
The multi-colour high density print is achieved by printing eight-colour ink paste each by three strokes and flash cure
Printing process: Colour printed by three strokes and flashed cured. Then overprinted with foil adhesive. Finally multi-coloued foil is placed on top and fused at 120 degree celcius
The high density raised print effect achieved by three colours printed onto the textile with Sericol's ink
Tone to tone puff print effect can be seen n the picture.
Print process: Printed by wet on wet method and flash cured the ink. After which the puff mixture is printed and cured at 140 degree celcius
Plastisol plus caviar bead effect can be seen in the image
The image has six colours and is printed onto the substrate after which the beads are pasted onto the ink and cured
The metallic print plus the glitter created can be seen in the image
Cold peel plastisol print effect uses nine colours
Printing process: Multitran XM452 colour is printed on transfer paper and heat set at 90-110 degree celcius for 15 seconds. The cycle is repeated for all the colours

Plastisol phosphorescent effect print is created with seven-colour with texaopaque classic OP plastisol

The effect is achieved by using Texiscreen aqua water-based ink - halftone print
