I still remember the day — 16 October 2002. I wholeheartedly supported him for executing the job; he took the position of a printer and I took the position of racker. We both cannot forget that date in our life. Since then we have been progressing year after year in screen printing.
I am now fully involved in the business and I support my husband as far as possible. We both work in unity, and take each other’s advice. We have woman staff in our company. It is my responsibility to allot them work and monitor their progress. In addition, I take care of accounting work as well.
If women can be a part of defense, science and technology, what prevents women in entering screen printing? Women can certainly excel in screen printing since it also involves use of various ingredients like in the kitchen.
There is gender inequality in business. In our conservative society we feel less number of women in business. But things are changing, and day-by-day more women are entering different fields of socio-economic activities.
