Recruitment for professors at IIP

The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) has invited applications for various posts at IIP, Mumbai and the regional centres at Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

The applications are for the posts of professor, associate professor and assistant professor at the IIP and for all the posts, the vacancies are one.

N C Saha, director at IIP, said, "The Indian Institute of Packaging has come a long way from its inception. We have institutes in various cities and are in the process of establishing new ones in cities like Vijaywada, where we have been given a grant for a 10 acre land and in Guwahati, where we have received a two acre plot."

"Of the global USD 750bn, India constitutes a USD 24.6bn share. Today India and China are the two countries which are growing and India is now capable of tapping opportunities with its large population, which was once considered as a bane. While packaging industry in China is growing at 18%, India follows with a 13-15%," he added.

Interested applicants can send the filled up form in the prescribed format available on the website in a sealed envelope mentioning the post applied for and should be forwarded to the deputy director (admin and accounts), IIP, E-2, MIDC, Andheri (East), Mumbai: 400093.

The last date of receipt of application is 4 March 2016.
