The company's liquid fount drier is an additive to be added to dampening solutions to speed up the drying of conventional offset inks on semi-absorbent or non-absorbent substrates. It speeds up the oxidation of inks, reducing the drying time of inks on semi or non-absorbent surfaces. It also reduces set-off problems and allows printing with conventional inks on semi or non-absorbent substrates.
Its special UV fount has been designed for printers who use the same press for UV and conventional inks. The metallic fount is a near-neutral pH fount for printing with metallic inks. Falcon Pressroom chemicals will also launch a fount for hard water conditions, soft water and a ghost buster, which will be demonstrated live at the show.
