The automatic high speed machine can produce 25 to 35 rigid boxes per minute. The boxes can be of 55 to 400-mm long, 55 to 350-mm wide and 10 to 120-mm in height.
Deep Mohan, chairman, Madkarter Technologies, said, “We came to the rigid box manufacturing segment one-and-a-half-year back. We already have two fully automatic machines from Lishun Yuan, and this is our third machine. We are working on finalising the purchase for a forth machine, which will be installed soon.”
Currently, the company manufactures 400,000 complete boxes per month. “We see a robust growth of rigid boxes in India as the mobile manufacturing industry is shifting its base to India. I have studied Italian machines but I found Lishun Yuan to be more affordable, and after-sale services to be excellent.”
After completing the installation of the second line by the end of March, the company hopes to target more than 100,000 boxes per day.
Sachin Kala, managing partner, Ample Graphics, said, “We have installed 16 fully automatic rigid box manufacturing machines in a short span of time. We see a solid growth of rigid box manufacturing in India and ready to serve the industry with our innovative and affordable solutions.”
Besides the 16 automatic rigid box machines, Ample Graphics has also sold 25 Taincen dry lamination machines since the establishment of the company.
The rigid box manufacturing business of Madkarter Technologies is a joint venture between Sterling Publishers and Madkarter Technologies. The plant is located in the Greater Noida-based production facility of Sterling Publishers.
