Print Hub, a one-stop commercial printing shop, produces a range of digitally-printed quality finished products comprising customised gifts, documents, and others using a raft of advanced and modern digital production presses of different models and technologies.
Sathiya Ramanan, managing director of Print Hub, said, “This production press is the second monochrome machine from Canon India at our facilities. Before this, we adopted an ImageRunner Advance 8585. We subsequently choose the Canon monochrome machines one after another because of their advanced features and capabilities. These systems are perfectly engineered to offer sharper outputs and more accurate laser imaging, fine texts, and graphics, even on complex jobs, when we compared them to other presses in their classes.”
He added, “In addition to speed and other advanced capabilities, iF 8186 can handle a wide range of media, starting from lightweight duplex stocks to heavyweight coated papers as well as long-format banners. Such media flexibility of the machine has triggered us to take on more new substrates, which in turn generated higher-valued applications. Installed in January this year, this newly adopted iF 8186 is delivering upgraded print quality and expanding our services for premium jobs to catch the attention of fresh customers.”
A perfectly engineered digital production press, iF 8186 is capable to operate at the speed of producing 86 A4-ppm to deliver sharp prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400×2,400-dpi. It’s a monochrome print perfectionist to produce excellent black & white graphic prints for finished products like manuals, academic books, journals, government documents, legal papers, and technical applications. “We have achieved a lot of new things with the new iF 8186 in terms higher printing resolution, larger feeder capacity, coated media support, heavier media handling for applications like banners, so on,” Ramanan said.
Backed by a team of 30 skilled and experienced printing and production professionals, Print Hub operates two production facilities in Coimbatore. Both the facilities are fully equipped with arrays of high-end and modern digital colour and monochrome production presses and associated equipment.
