Being the first AI-driven B2-size, fully-automated digital UV & foiling system manufactured by an Indian company, PixelGlow Vertex combines cutting-edge technology with precision engineering. Offering seamless integration of UV coating and foiling excellence in a single system, it’s engineered for embellishing packaging products, book covers, photo albums, marketing collateral, etc. It handles B2+ sheets up to 520x730-mm with grammages starting from 170- up to 600-gsm for creating multi-pass and high-gloss spot UV and variable foiling effects in resolution of 600x600-dpi. AI-driven scanner in the system is designed for accurate registration.
“Print enhancement is vital. Ordinary prints go everywhere when we make them extraordinary with finishing. So, we keep investing in print embellishment machines from time to time. The new PixelGlow Vertex is capable of handling several UV coating and foiling jobs, such as variable data printing (VDP) on finished products like wedding cards and such items. We embellish end-products because we want them rather to be felt than just seen,” said Chellappan.
VDP capabilities of the PixelGlow Vertex include the personalised UV-coated printing of names and addresses on card covers.
