The machine has the highest level of print quality because of 10 servo motors on each offset station and a complete gearless and shaftless machine.
Avon promoters visited the Zonten plant and evaluated the machine and took trial for 12 micron to 320-gsm board material recently.
Avon is a cluster of multiple printers in Ahmednagar and Nashik region and their main focus would be on flexible packaging like 12 micron polyester for pouches, in-mould labels, lamitubes, shrink sleeves and multicolour high-quality labels.
Vinay Chajed of Avon FPP, the main promoter of the cluster development, said this new combination press has the lowest pre-press cost among all existing flexo label presses or gravure or CI presses in the industry.
Manish Hansoti was thrilled with such a big and prestigious order and plans to keep an open house in the second half of this year when the machine arrives.
In India, Zonten has sold more than 80 flexo presses, six intermittent offsets, and six intermittent converting presses. It has also sold more than 200 of slitter-rewinders and flat die-cutting presses in the last 14 years.
