From 2016 onward, the International PackTech and Drink Technology India, the two trade shows will be complemented by FoodPex India.

The organisers of the show are expecting the trade fair to attract around 250 exhibitors, with the exhibition space area 14,000 sq/m. Euromonitor International shows the Indian demand for processed and packaged food is set to rise by about 31% by 2019. During the same period, the soft drinks sales are even expected to rise to more than twice their current level.
