In a press release, Reed Exhibition, the organisers of the event, said, “Due to the uncertainty in the region and around the world, and after consultation with all our stakeholders, the venue management, supporting associations, and in alignment with the advice from the Indian public health authorities regarding travel to and from impacted countries, we have taken the decision to postpone our event which was due to take place.”
The organisers also expressed its concerns for everyone impacted by the global health crisis related to COVID-19.
“We fully understand and appreciate the level of planning that is required to participate in an event like ours. Regrettably, the COVID-19 outbreak and related travel and commercial restrictions make those preparations too difficult to hold the show as planned in March. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause,” the release added.
The organisers added that leading up to the December event, it is preparing a number of solutions aiming to provide customised services to participants and further maximise successful outcomes at the December event.
