OnPrintShop has been named the winner of the EDP Award 2026 for Best Print Commerce Solution, with the recognition presented during the FESPA Global Print Expo 2026. The award was conferred by the European Digital Press Association (EDP), an organisation comprising leading trade publications and print industry experts from across Europe.
According to OnPrintShop, the award recognises its ability to make artificial intelligence practical and deployable within everyday print commerce workflows, rather than positioning AI as a future concept.
The company said the recognition reflects its focus on helping print service providers streamline storefront creation, improve customer experiences and automate business processes through a combination of AI-driven tools and web-to-print capabilities.
Among the AI-enabled features highlighted by the company are automated generation of SEO-optimised product descriptions, AI-created product imagery, automatic storefront translation into more than 19 languages, multilingual design translation, image background removal and image enhancement for print applications.
The platform also incorporates AI-driven product recommendations designed to improve customer engagement and increase conversion rates within online print storefronts.
Beyond storefront management, OnPrintShop has focused heavily on workflow automation and production efficiency.
The company said the platform enables printers to automate processes from order receipt through production and fulfilment. Features include online proofing and approvals, workflow automation, real-time inventory management and production management capabilities.
The platform also supports more than 300 third-party integrations covering MIS, ERP, shipping and payment systems, allowing printers to connect their existing software infrastructure without significant redevelopment.
One of the more notable capabilities for the packaging sector is support for label and packaging personalisation. According to the company, converters can offer buyers real-time packaging previews, custom dimensions and dynamic pricing, while 3D visualisation tools help customers review packaging designs before ordering.
