Commenting about recent trends in newspapers, Roy Alex of Newstech says, “Circulation growths are good. There are investment potentials. However, ad revenue seems to be going down or slowing, making the stakeholders pause on investments, unless absolutely essential.”
At the show, the company wants to create awareness of its product portfolio and pick up specific enquiries from one or more of verticals it offer. “It is an important show for us, both Wan-Ifra India and Wan-Ifra Europe, as all our software, hardware, and services are targeted at newspaper production,” Alex concludes.
Mumbai-based Newstech headed by Roy Alex has served the newspaper industry for three decades. Recently, the firm moved from their Turbhe unit to set up a new manufacturing plant at Wada (near Mumbai). The new plant produces mailroom kit like stackers, vertical and horizontal conveyors and joggers. The plant caters to the local as well as export market.
