Newclear Technologies is showcasing its digital cutting solutions portfolio at Bharat Print Expo 2026 in Chennai, with a focus on signage and short-run packaging applications.

Among the key products on display is a newly launched multi-tool digital knife cutting system, introduced around three to four months ago. The system is designed to handle a wide range of materials including foam sheets, vinyl, cardboard, fabric and other flexible substrates.

The machine operates with multiple interchangeable tools, including an oscillating tool for rigid materials, a knife tool for vinyl and sheet media, and a V-cut tool capable of producing angled cuts such as 30° and 45°. A tracing tool enables marking and creasing functions, expanding its use in packaging and display production.

Equipped with a CCD camera system, the machine scans registration marks to ensure accurate contour cutting, allowing users to process printed sheets with precision. The system supports speeds of up to 15,000 mm per minute, with output quality adjustable based on speed and material thickness.

The machine is positioned as a digital alternative to conventional die-cutting, enabling converters to produce customised designs without the need for physical dies. It supports batch loading of up to 500–600 sheets, making it suitable for short-run and on-demand production.

Newclear Technologies assembles its machines in Kerala, with key components sourced internationally. The company indicated that the system is primarily targeted at the outdoor signage industry, although it can also be adapted for rigid box and packaging applications depending on design requirements.

Through its participation at Bharat Print Expo, the company is introducing the new system to the South Indian market and engaging with potential customers exploring digital cutting and finishing solutions.
