Muller Martini will present its variable sleeve offset printing press (VSOP), to illustrate benefits for package printing, as the company expects that visitors will focus on the printing of flexible packaging, especially food packaging rather than on labels.
Kunjay Shah, sales manager, Muller Martini India, said, “The VSOP web offset press, which was showcased at Drupa 2012 and earlier at Labelexpo 2011 in Brussels with stepless, variable size offset printing and its applications, shall be generating keen interest.”
The press is equipped with features like electron-beam drying system for package printing. This drying system is suitable for food packaging, as the ink film is immediately hardened.
Shah said, “The result is a high-quality, low-odor and low-migration print product, manufactured under reliable production conditions, without the use of photo initiators or the emission of pollutants.”
The technical team from Muller Martini Germany will also be present at the show to respond to the queries related to VSOP technology.
