Mimaki launches two products at Media Expo Delhi

Mimaki India launched two new products. The first one is Mimaki UJV55320, a 10-ft roll-to-roll UV wide-format kit with seven colours, CMYK with Lc, Lm and white. This is a successor to Mimaki SIJ 320 UV. The UJV can print most of the substrates that come in roll format.

The other kit is Mimaki UJF-3042 MkII, A3 flatbed UV printing machine that now comes with one litre ink cartridge. Earlier, the ink quantity was 600 ml. Also the running capacity of the machine has been increased. The flatbed printer can print on any rigid substrate.

At the event, Mimaki has displayed total five printers, including Mimaki JFX200-2523 large format UV LED flatbed inkjet printer and Mimaki TX300P-1800.

According to Mandar Nalawade of Mimaki India, the wide-format market is growing. He pegs the tapped market to be worth more than Rs 25,000 crore, adding that the untapped market is much bigger and largely scattered.
