The company highlight at the show, however, was its SureColor SC-S80670 eco-solvent wide-format printer. According to Milind Chavan, area head-LFP west, Epson, the machine, which boasts a speed up to 95.1 sqm/hr, has been designed for indoor and commercial applications. “The inquiries for the SC-S80670 have been good,” Chavan said.
The SureColor-S80670 offers the widest colour gamut to meet the demanding jobs for indoor and commercial applications with the 10-colour UltraChrome Epson and UltraChrome GS3 ink. The machine has an option for white or metallic silver colours.
Chavan said today customers have come to accept eco-solvent kits due to their low running cost and good quality of print. This year, the eco-solvent will represent an opportunity for the wide-format industry.
A regular participant at Media Expo, Chavan said the show has been good for the company.
