While speaking to PrintWeek India, Aditya Neelkanth, director sales, Intel Trade Fairs & Exposition, the organiser of PrintExpo, said, “Chennai is very accessible for visitors from Karnataka and Telangana. Plus this year we have tried to get most of the big brands under one roof.”
Neelkanth, said, “We began our journey in 2009 and in a short span of time, we have managed to attract major brands. The Southern Indian market has become very important for most of the manufacturers and printers.”
Top brands like Canon, Epson, Ricoh, HP, Xerox, Redington India, Fujifilm India, Shanghai UPG, Konica Minolta, Monotech, KMI Business Technology, Duratech Automation, Omkar Engineering, Megabound India and Insight Communication & Print Solution India have confirmed their participation in the show. Manroland, ePrint Machinery, Zhongke India will be exhibiting for the first at PrintExpo.
In the previous edition of PrintExpo about 12,750 printers, converters and print buyers visited the show and 132 exhibitors occupied 5,550 sq/metre of an area at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Intel hosted PackPro Expo in February. It also hosts a bi-annual show in Kochi, Print Miracle, along with the Kerala Master Printers Association.
