“Our theme this year is all about package printing at the speed of the light, as a reflection of the evermore innovative labels and package printing machinery and products we are seeing in the world’s fastest growing economy,” Lisa Milburn, managing director, Labelexpo Global Series, said during the opening.
She added that the show is an excellent networking opportunity and a great place to meet peers as well as the leading suppliers.
Milburn said it is also a chance to celebrate excellence, important to keep the industry fresh and relevant. To the point, the first day evening will see the LMAI Avery Dennison Label Awards, which is set to honour the leaders in India’s label printing and converting industry.
Also present during the opening ceremony were AVPS Chakravarthi, global ambassador world packaging organisation; Rajesh Nema, executive director, Pragati Graphics; Kuldip Goel, president, LMAI; Ravindra Joshi, president, AIFMP, among others.
Spread across four halls, the show promises to offer something for converters of all kinds, label, flexible, and carton, including live demonstrations of state-of-the-art presses, as well as smart technology, finishing units, inks, dies and substrates from the leading manufacturers.
