“During the last show, we launched our hybrid digital-flexo press, EF Symjet in cooperation with Domino. This year we will show this press again, but with an emphasis on ‘talk to me’ connectivity,” said Inge Brinkman, management assistant, marketing and communications, MPS.

Brinkman added, “At MPS we strongly believe that the press operator is one of the most important factors in the printing process. If your operator is motivated, the results are better. That’s why our slogan is ‘operator focused, results driven’. As it is becoming harder and harder to find and keep skilled operators, automation is becoming more and more important. When all systems in your print shop are connected, the operator can easily operate multiple presses.”
Besides the EF multi-substrate press, a hybrid EF Symjet press, the company will show a non-running demo unit of the EB label press and the EXL-Packaging press. MPS will also participate in the Automation Arena (11D35) where another fully equipped EF press will run live.
