Amit Ahuja of Multitec Aids expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Labelexpo India 2024 is turning out to be a grand success for Multitec. Within the first two days, we secured five orders, including two large configurations of our 670-mm machines destined for Bulgaria and Morocco. The remaining 450-mm presses will serve the Indian market.”
He added, “Our introduction of the mid-web segment has been well-received, as it aligns perfectly with the evolving market dynamics, encouraging label converters to expand their focus beyond traditional labels. We thank our customers for their trust and expect to finalise another seven machine deals by the end of the show, concluding with a total of 12 machine orders.”
At the exhibition, Multitec is showcasing its double servo mid-web S2 press, a nine-colour machine featuring a 670-mm web width. Capable of running 12-micron substrates at speeds of 200-m/min, the S2 highlights its exceptional efficiency and advanced material-handling capabilities.
Additionally, Multitec is demonstrating a second S2 press, an eight-colour, 450-mm wide double-servo model, which prints shrink sleeves. This press is equipped with hybrid LED UV curing systems, die-cutting units, pre-register and auto-register functionality, a movable turnbar, delam-relam units, a peel-and-seal kit, and foiling stations.
Both presses in the S Series cater to a wide range of substrates from 10 to 450 microns, running at speeds up to 200-m/min. They are designed to deliver outstanding registration accuracy while minimising setup waste, underscoring Multitec’s commitment to innovation and efficiency in printing solutions.
