When and why did you invest in the Konica Minolta Bizhub 1060 machine?
We were looking to upgrade our Konica Minolta 6000 machine in 2014 and that’s the time when Bizhub 1060 was launched. We invested in this machine after we got a good buy back offer for the existing machine from the Konica Minolta team.
What kind of applications do you print on the press?
Our client base includes corporate firms, publishers for monochrome printing among others. We currently use the machine for printing brochures, catalogues, marketing collaterals, multi-colour books, etc.
How has the kit benefitted you?
This press has proven to be a very useful investment. The machine can print up to 50 copies per minute smoothly. Apart from being hassle-free in terms of setting up the job, the consistency of the print quality is very good.
Are there any value additions, print job accomplishment and savings in terms of wastage, turnaround time achieved with the machine?
The machine comes in handy when we have to print oversized banner of 13x40-inch. With the Bizhub 1060, the wastage has gone down. Also, the colour consistency is better and helps us to cater to urgent jobs on the fly.
