The JAL note added, that the rolling division has produced aluminium rolled products to the extent of 35,670 tonnes during 2016-17.
With 11 aluminium extrusion presses under one roof, JAL has an installed capacity of 1,28,000 MT per annum; and is the largest player in the domestic aluminium extrusions industry.
JAL has a most modern tool shop capable of producing high quality and intricate dies backed up by an international quality billet casting facility. The firm has developed in-house foundry using Hot Top casting technology imported from USA, with most modern melting and holding furnaces equipped with automatic temperature controllers. By adoption of such modern technology it produces highly refined close grained and oxide free logs which provide superior finish on the extruded sections.
Incorporated in 1968, JAL is engaged in manufacturing aluminium extruded profiles that are used across industries such as FMCG, construction, automobiles, rail and road transport, solar power, aerospace, electrical and electronics, and defence, among others.
The company employs more than 1,500 people across all its manufacturing locations. It is promoted by Sitaram Jindal who has over five decades of experience in the aluminium and renewable energy sectors.
