Jak takes home 60+ awards at NAEP and GPEA Awards

At the NAEP and GPEA Awards ceremony held at the Chennai Trade Centre on 28 April, industry leaders were recognised for excellence in print quality and innovation.

The National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP) and the Global Print Excellence Awards (GPEA), hosted by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), honoured exceptional technical achievement and innovation across offset, digital, screen, and hybrid printing categories.

Here’s a recap of the leading award winners.

Jak Printers secured over 60 accolades, including the Global Printer of the Year and Best Commercial Printer of the Year. Their haul spanned gold and merit honours for magazines, hardbound books, diaries, and innovative personalised digital products.

CDC Printers followed as the second-highest recipient with 18 awards, excelling in the rigid box and hardcover book segments. They were specifically recognised as the Best Rigid Box Manufacturer of the Year for their work in high-end packaging.

Trigon Digital bagged 16 awards and was named Best Digital Printer of the Year, winning for digital labels, pouches, and rigid boxes across the NAEP and GPEA categories.

Parkinson’s Packaging secured 14 awards. Earning the title of Best Packaging Printer of the Year, the company took home awards for security printing, corrugated cartons, and plastic substrate folding boxes.

Print Vision took home 11 awards, highlighted by the Shri SS Batra Special Award for excellence in fine art and poster printing.

Param Packaging was recognised for bulk packaging excellence; they earned 11 trophies for corrugated cartons and hybrid printed products.

Spectrum Scan won 10 awards, including the Global Innovative Printer of the Year and several honours for specialised screen-printing effects.

Miracle Group of Companies received nine awards for its diverse work in flexography, security printing, and fluted carton manufacturing.

Chirag Offset took home eight awards; they were honoured in the sheet-fed offset category and received a special award for children’s book items.

Ocean’s Deep Printers earned eight awards for excellence in catalogues, brochures, and digital books.

Orange Printers’ eight awards were concentrated in the digital printing and web offset categories for periodicals and stationery.

Quality Offset Printers was recognised with seven honours for labels and security printing across offset and flexography.

Other notable winners included Photopark Digital Press and Express Labels, each securing six awards for high-speed digital production. 

Creative Graphics achieved a clean sweep of 5 gold awards for screen printing, while Akruti Print Solutions, Silverpoint Printing Press, and Screen Art Enterprises also each secured five awards for their respective specialities.
