This time the medal tally for Jak is one Gold, two Silvers, and one Bronze across the categories of calendars, digital printing, posters, showcards, point-of-sale materials and leaflets, flyers, folders and brochures.
Also at the Ricoh NAEP awards held in September 2014,Jak bagged a total of 45 awards, Best Printers of the Year 2014, seven Golds, twelve Silvers and twenty five Bronzes to its name. With this Jak Printers achieved the distinguishing feat of winning the Best Printer award for the six consecutive time in a row - from 2005 - 2014, spanning a decade of printing in excellence.

In the calendar-any format category, Precihole Sports calendar printed by Jak grabbed the gold. According to Vincent Francis of JAK Printers, this job received maximum applause from the audience. This award once again proves the point that purely good printing with minimise dot gain, dot loss etc, are more important factors of good quality printing, rather than just throwing in gimmicks and losing the focus on good quality printing.
From the look of it, the calendar is only printed using four colours. but the depth that Jak could provide during printing was the striking factor for the judges according to Vincent. The four-colour calendar was printed on Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102-7 LX machine with online aqua varnish on all date leaves. The entire job has been printed on Royal gloss art paper.
