At Bharat Print Expo 2026, Heidelberg India is present with its full-spectrum print portfolio at the Chennai Trade Centre from 27–29 April. Located at Stall B15, the company is demonstrating an integrated approach spanning prepress, press and postpress, aimed at improving efficiency, consistency and turnaround times for commercial, packaging and label printers.
At the centre of the showcase is Heidelberg’s workflow-led strategy, with live demonstrations of its Prinect solutions designed to streamline operations and enable data-driven production. Visitors can engage with product specialists and explore how automation and connected systems reduce touchpoints, cut waste and enhance output quality across applications.
Rajendra Prasad, head of marketing for Heidelberg India, said, “Our presence at Bharat Print Expo reflects a clear focus on helping printers navigate a more demanding production environment. Customers are increasingly seeking integrated solutions that combine workflow intelligence with robust press performance to deliver predictable results and faster turnaround.”
He added that the response on the opening day had been encouraging, particularly from emerging markets. “We have seen a good number of customers from Tier II cities visiting our stall on day one. There is strong interest in our Prinect workflow solutions, and the conversations are clearly moving towards automation and process optimisation,” Prasad said.
Alongside technology, Heidelberg has rolled out event-specific offers on its Saphira consumables, as well as parts and services. These are positioned to support press uptime, optimise performance and maintain consistent print quality across substrates and job types.
BS Chandrashekar, cluster sales head south for Heidelberg India, said, “The southern market continues to show strong appetite for automation and high-performance systems. Our approach is to work closely with printers to align technology investments with business goals, whether that is scaling packaging output, improving job changeover times or enhancing colour consistency.”
He noted that the consumables and service-led offerings had gained traction at the show. “The Saphira consumables and parts offers have been well received, indicating that printers are looking at improving performance without necessarily adding new equipment,” Chandrashekar said.
With two days remaining, the company expects broader regional participation. “We expect more customers from across regions over the next two days as the show progresses,” Chandrashekar added.
With its combined focus on workflow, equipment and consumables, Heidelberg India is using the expo to reinforce its role as a solutions partner for print businesses looking to balance productivity with sustainability and long-term growth.
