Taisuke Miyazaki, senior manager at the Instax and Photo Imaging Division of Fujifilm India, highlighted the brand’s ability to manage the entire imaging lifecycle — from the moment a photograph is captured to the final physical print.
Central to their showcase was the Aqueous Pro, a high-performance machine targeted at photo labs and distributors. Rather than focusing solely on hardware, Fujifilm displayed a diverse range of high-quality print samples to demonstrate the output capabilities of its technology.
Miyazaki emphasised that the company’s click-to-print philosophy remains its most significant competitive edge, bridging the gap between digital cameras and professional-grade printing. He noted that the integration of shooting and printing ensures a level of colour consistency and quality that remains a core commitment for the brand.
Reflecting on the evolving Indian market, Miyazaki observed a shift in the competitive landscape, specifically the influx of machinery from international markets, including China. He noted that the presence of both large-scale and compact machines is a sign of a healthy, albeit increasingly competitive, market. By maintaining its focus on a vertically integrated ecosystem, Fujifilm aims to navigate this competition by offering a reliability that few other brands can replicate.
